Skiing
By far, the most popular activity and the reason this resort is here today is for the great skiing. Big White is home to 112 designated trails as well as 27 unnamed trails all with a variety of skill levels from beginner to expert. To assist you up the mountain, Big White has 13 lifts including; 4 high-speed quad chairs, and an 8-passenger high-speed gondola. Ski from the first crack of dawn to late afternoon, and after a short break, head out on the largest night skiing area in Western Canada. Purchase a half day or full day ticket or buy a multi-day lift pass, which offers night skiing when available. Contact our office staff for prices and details.
Snowboarding
Looking to try something different on the slopes? Why not trade in your skis and strap your feet to a snowboard. Big White has recently invested in the long-awaited Super Pipe as well as a one of a kind super pipe-grooming machine. Along with the beginner half pipe and 3 terrain parks, Big White is a great experience for riders of all skill levels. 2005 brings a brand new olympic standard snow boarding park ... too much fun!

Beano's Coffee Parlour
The best coffee on the mountain! Serving hearty homemade soups, fresh cut sandwiches and warm baked goods. Located in the main hall of the Village Center Mall across from Big White Ski Rentals. A great meeting place. 1-250-765-3101 ext 291.
Big White Bakery
This is the place to enjoy baked goods, hot lunches, specialty cakes and buy wonderful Artisan breads. They put booths in this year with "cheap date" night, so a pizza, bottle of wine and friendly staff for a fixed price. Located in the bottom level of the Village Center Mall. 1-250-765-3101 ext 289.
Ridge Day Lodge
At the base of the Ridge Rocket this cafeteria styled breakfast and lunch spot offers great food at reasonable prices in a casual family atmosphere. Outdoor tables and BBQ make this a fun stop. Plus this will probably be it's last year before the big hotel moves in. 1-250-765-3101 ext 232.
Snow Shoe Sam's Bar
Good bar food mid day and evenings. Licensed, so not for kids. Burgers and salads with pool tables, videos and live music in the evenings. 1-250-765-1416. Located at the end of the village promenade
Underground Pizzeria
Enjoy homemade pizzas on hand-stretched crusts. You can eat-in or order these tasty pizzas 'to go' and have them delivered. You can order roast chickens in advance as well. Copper Kettle Grille
The Copper Kettle Grill offers great food and a fantastic children's menu. Located in the 'White Crystal Inn' at the far end of the Village promenade, this is a special evening out. There is also a lounge and pool tables on the other side for great après ski. 1-250-491-8122

Soup Stone Bistro
A new additional to the hill, the bistro opened its doors at Trappers Crossing in Big White and has the best organic soups. The menu, inspired by a West Coast return to basics, features a contemporary approach to dining in a cozy setting or better yet, in the privacy of your own chalet. They pride themselves on closely cultivated relationships with local culinary talents, wineries and organic farmers. With inspired vision we are proud to showcase the best of our region.

Upstairs is Sam's famous fine dining. Huge stone fireplace, great food and the classic 'Gunbarrel Coffee'. Sam's is a mountain tradition with the 'Best Ski Bar' in Canada downstairs. . Located at the end of the village promenade. 1-250-765-1416
The Swiss Bear
Fine European cuisine over looking the Plaza Chair and the Village Promenade. This has an open atmosphere with central fireplace and small open bar. Great traditional Swiss fare. Located in the Chateau Big White. 1-250-491-7750.
Dinner
Kettle Valley Steak House
Renown for their Black Angus steaks, the Chef's culinary repertoire and constantly changing selection, this restaurant has a great wine selection as well. Located upstairs in the Happy Valley Day Lodge, just a Gondola ride away. They are open from 3pm in the bar and 5pm in the restaurant Tuesday - Saturday. Reservations recommended 1-250-491-0130.
Big White Telus Park
TELUS Park provides an all-in-one skiing and snowboarding experience. This extensive facility is serviced by its own lift, pumping stereo system and is lit for night-time sessions. TELUS Park provides something for everyone, from kids and families to world-class athletes.

Mega Snow Coaster Mountain Tube Ride
Jump in a tube and speed downhill on North America’s largest resort tubing park. Located in Happy Valley, just a short gondola ride from the Village Centre. With friends or by yourself, this exciting ride should not to be missed during your stay on the mountain.
Tickets can be purchased from the Happy Valley Day Lodge, Village Centre Mall or at the Cabin located at the base of the tube park.
